Stagecoach has been rocking the lives of people since May 1997; its impact can be deduced from the fact that at its inception it was a 2 day event and owing to its unusual success, one more day was added to the festival the following year in 1998. Initially it was stereo-typed as the shadow or the country-music counterpart of the ‘mega’ music festival- Coachella which is also staged and organized on the same grounds, still Stagecoach has proved from the very beginning that there is more to it than this stated difference.

BBQ Championship & More
Apart from the spectacular list of line-upped performances by renowned or upcoming singers, this place is also known as the site of BBQ Championship since 2008. Before this time this competition was run and managed by Kansas City BBQ Society, but since 2013 it has been hosted by the festival itself; numerous participants compete for prize money of $10,000.
