The first Super Bowl game was conducted on January 15, 1967, and since then has evolved into so much more than just a game. It is considered an American tradition and on this day all kinds of businesses are affected as everyone is gathered around a television or at the stadium at which the game is conducted. There is an overall loss in productivity in America on the Monday following Super Sunday. Substantially large amounts of food and alcohol are consumed on Super Bowl Sunday in the United States only behind the day of Thanksgiving.

Even the commercial advertisements played during the Super Bowl are super expensive and largely popular. The cost for a 30-second ad during the Superbowl of 2022 was a whopping $6,500,000. The halftime shows during the game are renowned, with performances from the leading artists. This year there was a spectacular lineup for the halftime show by hip hop legends such as Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem.
