The Myrtle Beach Jetport is a county-owned, public-use airport located three miles southwest of the central business district of Myrtle Beach, a city in Horry County, South Carolina, United States.The location of the airport is on the site of the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. The construction of the airport began on the northeast side of the Air Force Base runway on 19 July 1975 and the commercial aviation facility was opened in the year 1976.
